Our Distribution business was established in 2002 and has been a successful growth area for our Logistics Department, allowing us the opportunity to deliver a wide range of branded and own label ambient and frozen as well as non-food products for a number of major suppliers, while ensuring integrity and confidentiality at all times for them and their customers.

 

We provide a service within our Logistics Department that offers a unique third party distribution service with tailor made 'add-ons' to suit our customers' own requirements. This includes EDI order processing and invoicing to UK multiples on behalf of clients, both overseas and at home, who are not as close to the supply chain as they would like.

 

In addition to receiving and processing orders from Supermarket customers, we also do forward planning and place orders with our principles to meet forward requirements. We arrange shipments, warehousing, deliveries of products, invoice goods, supply EPOS figures and service level information via the internet to assist our clients with planning their own strategy and promotional programming. This ensures that Supermarket customers receive 100% service levels and continuity of supply, particularly during important promotional periods.

 

This service is also available to Cash & Carry and Wholesale outlets, no delivery is too large or too small and we can often offer economies of scale by combining orders to be delivered at the same time to the same destination anywhere in the UK.

 

We are well placed to continue expanding our Distribution business, as many companies are now finding considerable cost savings and efficiences by outsourcing this specialist activity and allowing them more time to spend on their core business.
